르메르는 서울에 첫 번째 플래그십 스토어를 2023년 11월에 오픈하였습니다.
우리들은 르메르와 손잡고 한남 플래그십을 함께 하였습니다. 르메르의 아티스틱 디렉터인 크리스토프 르메르와 사라-린 트란의 감각과 따뜻한 마음을 르메르 디자인팀과 르메르의 오랜 파트너인 삼성과의 팀웍으로 완성하게 되었습니다.
우리들은 르메르가 가지고 있는 한국 문화에 대한 깊은 관심과 애정 그리고 존경심을 안내하고 르메르 플레그쉽 공간안에 어떻게 녹일 것인가를 함께 고민하였습니다.
한적한 주택가 골목안으로 들어서면 오래전부터 존재해온 벽돌 담장을 발견하게 됩니다. 이 담장을 따라 대문을 열면 매우 자연스러우면서도 아름다운 정원을 발견하게 됩니다. 정원 안으로 한 발 깊숙하게 들여 놓으면 매장으로 들어올 수 있습니다. 이곳은 한지, 옷칠, 오래된 나무, 누비, 그리고 깨끼 바느질 등 전동적인 장인들과 공예적인 기법 그리고 한국의 소재가 사용되었습니다.
LEMAIRE opened its first flagship store in Seoul in November 2023.
We partnered with LEMAIRE to create the Hannam flagship store together. The artistic director of LEMAIRE, Christophe Lemaire, and Sarah-Linh Tran, along with the LEMAIRE design team and Lemaire's long-time partner, Samsung, have completed this project with their sense of style and warm hearts.
We discussed how to integrate LEMAIRE 's deep interest, affection, and respect for Korean culture into the Lemaire flagship space.
Entering a quiet residential alley, you will discover a brick wall that has been standing for a long time. Following this wall and opening the gate, you will find a natural yet beautiful garden. Stepping deeper into the garden, you can enter the store. This place uses traditional Korean materials and techniques such as hanji, ottchil, old wood, quilting, and kkaekki stitching, crafted by traditional artisans and using artisanal methods.
